KMC LTD awarded a public contract which covers: “Overhaul of cable tunnels/ducts and cable racks of voltages up to 6kV at Site 2 providing connections to a “new uninterruptible power supply” building with units 5/6.” by Kozloduy NPP Plc as contracting entity. Its subcontractors will be Montazhi Co Ltd in part: Building construction and installation, and Electro Pusk Ltd in part: SU&C.
The repair works are intended to replace cable racks and steel supporting structures in cable ducts №1, 2, 3, 3A, 4 and 4A, as well as a 600 × 600 mm cable duct, which is a deviation of cable ducts № 1 and 2.
At present, these cable racks and steel supporting structures are highly corroded.
In addition to the replacement of racks, repairs will be carried out as well as the necessary works related to the construction rehabilitation of cable ducts.
