On October 24th, 2020, the planned annual repair of Kozloduy NPP Unit 6 was completed. KMC LTD participated in the repair through:
- “Execution of electrical installation works on electrical equipment and management and control systems of nuclear power units 5 and 6 during and/or related to the planned annual repair in 2020. – Lot 1 – Electrical installation services to maintain the reliability of equipment at the “Electrical equipment” (EE) workshop for PAR 2020, Unit 6 and common facilities” – Dismantling of old lighting equipment and installation of new LED light fittings. Replacement of 6 kV power cable for power supply of 6RM41D01. Conditioning of the lighting installation and contact line in premises of unit 6. Replacement of repairing panels and transition boxes.
- “Replacement of RP-cabinets, panels with R/I converters, cross cabinets and power supply panels of instrumentation sensors on I and II loop” – Dismantling of old and installation of new RP- and cross cabinets, disconnection and connection of cores from RP-, cross and base cabinets.
- “Replacement of fan 6TL04D02 heat exchangers and pipe strapping” – Dismantling of the old and installation of 6 new heat exchangers. Dismantling of thermal insulation and existing pipeline. Assembly of a new pipeline and new supports.
The planned activities under the contract for ensuring the equipment and safe operation of the nuclear facilities have been implemented qualitatively by 40 employees of KMC LTD.
