KMC Ltd. pursues the execution of the contract with Siemens Energy EOOD with subject: “Modernization of turbine unit TG3 with new anti-pressure turbine in TPP Sofia East.“
The execution of the construction works in the Electrical part includes the installation of equipment for modernization of the field in the 110 kV Outdoor Switchgear equipment and the respective transformer platform.
Equipment for modernization of cells in 6.3kV switchgear will be delivered and installed. During the implementation of the contract KMS EOOD replaces sections r08, r09 and r10, aiming at the modernization of the 6.3 kV switchgear. A new generator excitation system is being built, as well as a retrofit of the existing control and relay boards.
New power and control cables will be delivered and installed. The scope of activities includes the implementation of commissioning works after the completion of installation operations and assistance in the commissioning of the new turbine.
