The Minister of Energy Mr. Rumen Radev awarded the prizes to the experts of the Bulgarian Branch Chamber of Power Engineers for their contribution to the development of the sector.
The award ceremony was also attended by the Deputy Minister of Energy Mr. Krasimir Nenov, the Honorary Chairman of the Bulgarian Branch Chamber of Power Engineers – Mr. Dimitar Shevikov, the Chairman of the Board of the Bulgarian Industrial Association – Mr. Dobri Mitrev.
The leadership of the Bulgarian Branch Chamber of Power Engineers, chaired by Prof. Valentin Kolev, in 2023 have awarded the prize “Power Engineer of the Year” in eight sections. The following experts were awarded: Eng. Martin Georgiev – Executive Director of the National Electric Company, Eng. Valeri Ruzhin – Director of the Electricity Transmission Department at the Electric Power System Operator, Eng. Krasimir Kamenov – Head of the Nuclear Fuel Department at Kozloduy NPP, Eng. Stoyan Dinchev – Director of Repair Department at TPP Maritsa-East 2, Eng. Ivan Yavorov – Head of the Power Supply and Electrical Equipment Department at Troyanovo 2 Mine at Maritsa-East Mines, Eng. Hristo Hristov – Member of the Management Board of Elektrorazpredelenie Sever, Eng. Yordan Stoyanov – Network Development Director at Elektrorazpredelitelni mrezhi Zapad, Eng. Yavor Nikolov – Project Engineer at EVN Bulgaria Toplofikatsia, Eng. Nikolay Nikolov – Director of Sofia East District of Toplofikatsia Sofia, Eng. Miroslav Panov – Production Director at EMU AD, Targovishte and Eng. Tsvetan Raykov – Executive Director of KMC JSC.
