KMC JSC has taken part in the Third International Nuclear Conference, which was organized on 25 and 26 January 2024 at Sofia Balkan Palace by the Bulgarian Energy and Mining Forum in cooperation with the National Committee of Bulgaria for the World Energy Council and Kozloduy Nuclear Power Plant. The conference was focused on “The Opportunities of Nuclear Energy for Decarbonization of the Energy Sector – Technology, Projects, Services”.
Mr. Rosen Osikovski has introduced the company’s capabilities to the President of the Republic of Bulgaria Mr. Rumen Radev and high level representatives of institutions and energy companies from the EU, USA and Canada, including from the European Commission Directorate-General for Energy, Euratom, OECD/Nuclear Energy Agency, Framatome, Westinghouse, top financial consultants, heads of scientific institutes and representatives of nuclear companies from Canada, UK, Ukraine, Japan, China.
KMC JSC was a sponsor of the event, discussing policies and strategies for launching new nuclear projects, viable financial models for successful nuclear construction and other issues related to the development of the sector.
