KMC LTD, as part of the “RAW Power Supply” group, signed a contract with the State Enterprise “Radioactive Waste” (SERAW), the object of which is: Power supply to facilities and buildings of the Kozloduy NPP PLC and SERAW. The performance of the contract is financed entirely from the Kozloduy International Fund (KIF) and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).
The activities provided for in the volume of the contract include: design, delivery of primary and auxiliary equipment, implementation of the accepted and approved project developments, starting-up tests and commissioning works, and the period provided for implementation is 164 weeks.
The subject-matter of delivery of primary equipment is transformers and equipment for 110 kV and 220 kV feeders, 6 kV and 0.4 kV sections, power and control cables, etc. Upon completion of the activities and the commissioning of the newly delivered equipment, the low and medium voltage consumers of Kozloduy NPP and SERAW, located on the territory of Units 1-4 will be supplied by separate distribution systems.
With this contract, KMC LTD has once again proved to be a reliable partner and has the potential to manage engineering projects in the energy field.
