Eng. Teodor Osikovski, owner and manager of the company KMC Ltd., engaged in repair works in the energy sector, speaks about the most valuable asset of his company.
Eng. Teodor Osikovsky has been working in the energy industry for more than 30 years. Because of his vast experience he is considered one of the leading experts in this field. ” Specific work results are achieved by having a good education, professional experience, well-prepared team and being dedicated to what you do,” he states.
Eng. Teodor Osikovski is a mechanical engineer graduate of Technical University of Sofia, and a PhD student of the university. He specializes in International Economic Relations and Customs Policy at the Postgraduate Institute of the UNWE. This education provides him with competences as an engineer and manager.
He started his professional career in the field of energy at Central Energy Repair Base JSC Sofia, where he was successively a member of the Board of Directors, Chairman of the Board and Procurator. He was CEO and member of the Board of Directors of Energoremont Holding AD until 2018.
Through its investment structure, Euro Technoconsult is adding a new energy company to its portfolio in 2019 – KMC Ltd. Teodor Osikovski is a long-standing chairman of the Bulgarian Welding Union.
He has been successively a member of the boards of the Confederation of Employers and Industrialists in Bulgaria (CEIB), the Scientific and Technical Union of Mechanical Engineering, the Bulgarian-Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, BULATOM and the Alumni Council of the Technical University of Sofia. He has been nominated twice by the professional community as the Energetician of the Year and Mr. Economy in the Energy Sector. This career has guaranteed his professional experience in the energy sector.
He perfectly knows all the bases in Bulgaria that produce and supply energy. And if something in the whole chain breaks down, somebody has to do the repairs. That is what his company KMC Ltd. is doing.
This is the new name of the company founded in 1990 and specialising in energy repairs. In 2019, Eng. Teodor Osikovski acquired the company through his investment structure, attracted excellent specialists and now employs a team of over 180 qualified professionals with over 30 years of experience in the energy sector.
KMC Ltd. already has four offices across the country – Kozloduy, Radnevo, Burgas and Sofia. In three years, the company’s portfolio has expanded, and now, in addition to repair and installation services in the energy sector, also provides electrical works, service and maintenance, manufactures parts and equipment.
The company’s portfolio also includes the Balkankar – Georgi Mihailov repair and mechanical facility, where the company manufactures spare parts for trucks and metal structures. The most important partners of KMC EOOD are Kozloduy NPP, CEZ, ESO, NEK and electricity distribution companies.
These are the results of three years of management, which is a huge leap forward despite the COVID pandemic crisis and the war in Ukraine, where the company has been awarded contracts for the supply and repair of energy equipment.
Now working there is impossible, but Eng. Osikovski is mobilising and concentrating on other projects and targeting new locations as well. He believes his company’s most valuable asset is its people and the trust of its customers and partners. That is why it is necessary to work and develop. “Both the war and the pandemic have shown us that there is nothing more precious than the human life and health,” he states.
As a man possessing a broad managerial perspective, Teodor Osikovski is developing a different type of business – 10 years ago he founded the Golden Rozhen winery in Kapatovo, which he is currently expanding.
He is working on creating a vintage car museum, which will open at the end of this year also in Kapatovo. All the charitable causes he dedicates himself to outside of his business activities are related to his personal belief that no matter what you do, first and foremost you must be humane and respectful. This is the link that connects him to his team, his partners, his colleagues and the future that he is building today.
